Armed police have been seen throughout a 'disturbance' in a Scots city which has led to the arrests of two males.
Officers raced to the New Row and Bridge Avenue areas of Tranent, East Lothian at round 12.30pm on Wednesday, June 15.
Pictures and movies from the scene present no less than 5 police autos lined up with a number of officers in possession of firearms.
Police Scotland have confirmed that two males, aged 25 and 34, have been arrested in reference to the incident.
Nonetheless, enquiries to determine the total circumstances surrounding the 'disturbance' stay ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “We had been known as round 12.30pm on Wednesday 15 June, to a report of a disturbance within the New Row and Bridge Avenue areas of Tranent.
“Officers attended and two males, ages 25 and 34, have been arrested in reference to the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing to determine the total circumstances.”
