Two Ayrshire sisters have been tapped to play within the stage manufacturing of the hit 2009 Christmas film Nativity!
The Lee sisters from Kilmarnock cannot wait to carry out side-by-side this November on the Theatre Royal in Glasgow within the beloved Christmas musical.
Freya, 13, and Pippa, 9, not too long ago came upon that they had crushed a whole lot of different candidates for principal roles within the upcoming present after three gruelling days of auditions not too long ago.
Grange Academy pupil Freya spoke about treading the boards after Covid restrictions put a cease to performing.
She stated: "I feel everybody who enjoys theatre, whether or not that’s these on stage, backstage, or within the viewers, is so completely satisfied to be again to stay performances once more after such a very long time with out them throughout covid.
"I’m excited to be performing in Nativity! The Musical as it's a film and present I really like, and can actually benefit from the expertise of being on stage with Pippa.

Proud dad Barry stated: "We're actually happy with the ladies being profitable on this course of.
"It was obvious on the auditions that there was an enormous variety of actually proficient kids in attendance, so to have gotten this far is a good achievement for them.
"They each love performing and are at their happiest on stage.
"As with anybody who's concerned in theatre is aware of, there's a lot onerous work that goes on behind the scenes – studying strains and songs and perfecting dance routines – so they're sure to have a really busy few months forward of them rehearsing for the present.
"We’ve been inundated with requests from family and friends for tickets to return and see the ladies carry out, which is admittedly appreciated, so I do know they may have a military of followers and supporters within the viewers when it’s time for the curtain to return up on the present in November.”
The ladies are college students of Kilmarnock theatre faculty Take A Bow and can each be performing later this month in Joseph and the Superb Technicolour Dreamcoat as a part of the college's 10-year anniversary present on the Grand Corridor.
Nativity! The Musical will run from Wednesday, November 30 to Saturday, December 3.
