13 teams within the Clydesdale space acquired a funding increase from South Lanarkshire Council.
On the Clydesdale Space committee assembly yesterday (June 22), councillors permitted the playscheme and group grants.
The council’s playscheme grants provide funding for playschemes which function over the summer season, October and Easter holidays. One group acquired funding – Lanark Common Connections was awarded £600 to cowl actions.

Barn Buddies Group Curiosity Firm in Carluke acquired £250 for start-up prices and Wild Issues Scotland CIC in Biggar acquired £600 for tools and supplies.
Different teams who have been awarded included Cargill Home Membership in Lanark who acquired £200 for an outing in addition to Abington Bowling Membership who acquired £300 for tools.
Crawfordjohn Public Corridor Affiliation have been awarded £500 for tools and St Nicholas Pre Faculty Playgroup in Lanark acquired £480 for supplies.
Leadhills Silver Band have been awarded £500 for supplies in addition to Lanark and District Archaeological Society who acquired £250 for an outing and entrance charges.
The council operates a group grants scheme to assist native constituted group teams and voluntary organisations. Functions are invited regularly all year long.
Complete allocation of group grants for the 12 months 2022 to 2023 for the Clydesdale areas is £25,750 deducting the grants given out in the present day, £20,660 is left.
