Solway Yacht Membership marked the Platinum Jubilee with a water pageant at Kippford on
Friday.
With the specter of rain holding off, an estimated 60 craft together with a number of boats, sail and energy, canoes, kayaks, rowing skiffs, paddle boards and absolutely anything that floated, took to the water for a procession up and down the estuary celebrating the Queen’s 70-year reign.
