A businessman threatened to “wipe out” a buddy and his household over a £12,000 debt.
John Lucas warned Jordan Connor he would ship “heavy obligation individuals” to his dwelling if the cash wasn’t paid again instantly.
Cops had to make use of Pava spray to restrain Lucas as they tried to arrest him.
Lucas, 34, of Motherwell, listed as a director of a tanning salon, admitted threatening Jordan on December 28, 2020, and threatening or abusive behaviour in the direction of cops the subsequent day.
Prosecutor Lauren Cole informed a court docket: “He phoned Mr Connor at his dwelling in Airdrie to debate £12,000 that Mr Connor owed.

When officers went to arrest Lucas, his associate Kerrie Black, 33, answered the door. Mrs Cole informed Airdrie Sheriff Court docket: “She shouted inside to Lucas, ‘They’re going to f***ing jail you’ and tried to shut the door.
“Lucas appeared and shouted, ‘The place’s your f***ing warrant?’
“He started to withstand arrest violently and in consequence Pava spray was discharged. Lucas shouted, ‘F***ing spray me, ya bam. I’ll rip your f***ing face out.’
