A convicted rapist has died in custody at HMP Edinburgh.
David Ferguson reportedly died in hospital on Saturday, June 4, whereas serving out his jail sentence.
The pensioner was caged for 10-years for sexually abusing two women.
The 67-year-old was initially handed a 10-year sentence in 2015 after being discovered responsible of a marketing campaign of sexual abuse at Aberdeen Sheriff Courtroom.

Whereas serving at HMP Edinburgh, he was sentenced to an additional 10 years behind bars in August 2021 for the sexual abuse of two extra victims - one when the sufferer was an adolescent, and the opposite a baby.
A trial at Edinburgh Excessive Courtroom discovered him responsible of three sexual offences, together with rape and tried homicide dedicated between October 1988 and August 2010 in Fife.
The primary rape passed off at a home in Ballingry when he attacked a sufferer who was sleeping.
He went on to assault and molest the lady once more at a property in Cowdenbeath.

The second sufferer was aged simply six or seven when the sexual abuse started.

A spokesperson from the Scottish Jail Service mentioned: "David Ferguson, 67, a prisoner from HMP Edinburgh has died on June 4, 2022.
"He was sentenced at Aberdeen Excessive Courtroom in 2015.
"Police Scotland have been suggested and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Deadly Accident Inquiry can be held in the end."
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “At 2.20pm on Saturday, June 4, police have been made conscious of the loss of life of a 67-year-old man on the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, having beforehand been conveyed there from HMP Edinburgh.
"There aren't any suspicious circumstances and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
