A girl gave delivery within the bogs of a Morrisons grocery store after employees heard her screaming for assist.
Staff on the Wishaw department of the grocery store sprung into motion after listening to the girl's pleas for assistance on Tuesday.
It's understood a employees member helped ship the client's child.
The brand new mum was taken to Wishaw Basic Hospital by ambulance after the weird delivery round 5pm.
One shopper instructed how the employees member had rushed to the expectant mum's support - and referred to as for them to be rewarded.
Lorraine Jordan stated: "I bought there as soon as all the joy had ended however I noticed the girl being taken into the ambulance.
"Then a employees member on the chilly meat counter instructed us what had occurred.
"It was a member of employees that delivered the child. I used to be instructed she heard somebody screaming for assist and it was coming from the bogs.
"It will be beautiful for the member of employees to be awarded indirectly."
The Morrisons Wishaw retailer supervisor despatched his congratulations to the mum and child and stated he was extremely happy with his workforce.
Retailer supervisor Nicky Sutherland, stated: "I am extremely happy with my workforce, who acted quick to help a buyer who welcomed a bit of child into the world in our retailer yesterday afternoon.
"We hope that each mum and child are doing nicely and ship our full congratulations."
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they had been referred to as to attend the grocery store on Tuesday and stated two sufferers had been transported to hospital.
A spokesperson stated: “We acquired a name at 17:08 to attend an incident at Morrisons, Kirk Highway, Wishaw.
"Two ambulances had been despatched to the scene and two sufferers had been transported to College Wishaw Hospital.”
