Police appeal after woman, 60, was sexually assaulted on Dunblane cycling route

A police investigation has been launched after a 60-year-old girl was sexually assaulted close to Dunblane.

The horrifying assault happened on Tuesday, June 14, at round 7.30pm as the lady cycled alongside Sheriffmuir Highway.

The girl was biking close to to the Sheriffmuir Inn when she was approached by a younger man on a motorbike who touched her inappropriately earlier than using off.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 16 and 18-years-old, with yellowish enamel and braces. He was carrying a cycle helmet, sun shades, a brilliant neon orange jacket and was using a white highway bike.

Constable Jenna Alexander, Stirling Police Station, stated: “The world is a well-used cycle route and so I am eager to listen to from anybody who was within the space between 7pm and 8pm final Tuesday night who might have seen the male bicycle owner within the space or who recognises the outline of him."
