Motorcyclist fighting for life after crash on major Scots road

A motorcyclist is combating for his life after a crash with a automobile on a significant Scots highway.

The incident occurred on the A836 in Castletown, Caithness at round 3.15pm on Tuesday, June 14.

It concerned a BMW R1100 bike and a Skoda Karoq.

The 39-year-old was rushed to Caithness Basic Hospital with what has been described as life-threatening accidents.

He was later transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The driving force and the passengers of the automobile weren't injured.
