A person has died after being pulled from the water at a harbour in North Ayrshire.
Emergency crews, together with Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, raced to Saltcoats Harbour after the alarm was raised shortly after 1pm at the moment.
A 65-year-old man was retrieved from the water however sadly couldn't be saved.
He was pronounced useless on the scene a short while later.
Officers have now launched an investigation into the tragic incident.
