Linlithgow celebrated its historic Marches Day on Tuesday.

Flutes and drummers kicked off the day at 5am with a parade via the burgh, Linlithgow Bridge and Blackness waking the inhabitants.

The civic celebration then laid wreaths on the struggle memorial in Blackness earlier than the Fencing of the Courtroom at Citadel Hill, Blackness, and the set up of Baron Bailie.

The Provost’s celebration then had lunch within the Marquee in Blackness, earlier than the Grand Finale at 5pm when the procession went 3 times around the Cross Nicely.
