Images show huge fire which closed Scots road as emergency services rushed to scene

Firefighters tackled an enormous blaze at a constructing beside a Fife nation street final night time.

The fireplace took maintain inside an outbuilding at Dales Cottages beside the B981 between Inverkeithing and Crossgates, close to Cowdenbeath, after 10pm final night time.

Dramatic photos shared on the Fb web page Fife Jammer Places confirmed thick plumes of smoke erupting from the scene and pouring throughout the sky.

There have been no casualties from the incident.

One native mentioned: "It is a storage fireplace - everybody seemed to be out and protected.

"We phoned the fireplace brigade they usually had been already conscious on en route so we left to maintain the street clear."

It has since been confirmed that there have been no casualties on account of the blaze.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Hearth and Rescue Service mentioned: “We had been alerted at 10.07pm on Tuesday, Might 31 to stories of a hearth inside outbuildings at Dales Cottages, Inverkeithing, Fife.

“Operations Management mobilised seven fireplace home equipment and specialist assets to the scene the place crews extinguished the fireplace.

“There have been no casualties."

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that they assisted with visitors administration on the scene.
