Ed Sheeran's Glasgow Hampden gig sees star don Scotland top as fans label show 'loudest ever'

Ed Sheeran wowed followers at Hampden final evening, and even stunned the gang by sporting a Scotland high.

The Form Of You singer is in the course of two back-to-back reveals on the stadium, as hundreds of followers turned up in drive to see him carry out.

The live performance was heard bellowing out from the venue throughout town, as individuals took to social media to report listening to Ed carry out within the north and east of the realm, and as far-off as Lenzie.

Nevertheless, regardless of the surplus noise and native site visitors chaos that ensued, it was the 31-year-olds candy contact with the Scotland high that put the cherry on high of a great evening.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "Ed Sheeran performing in Hampden final evening sporting a Scotland shirt was the spotlight of my evening"

Many Glaswegians had been bowled over on the noise ranges coming from the venue, and took to social media to vent.

One wrote: "was by far the loudest gig at Hampden, I dwell close to the stadium and often solely hear muffled noise, final evening I may have sang alongside (if I knew any Ed Sheeran songs)."

One other penned: "Might hear a heavy baseline final evening (10:30pm) I placed on a sleep story and forgot about it. This morning our native fb group had been discussing it, apparently it was Ed Sheeran at Hampden?! We dwell the opposite facet of town, is that attainable?"

A 3rd mentioned: "I dwell almost a mile from Hampden however the music sounded because it was being performed loudly in my neighbour's front room. I hope those that had been there weren't deafened. #EdSheeran#HampdenPark "

In the meantime gig goers confronted heavy site visitors as they tried to go house after the live performance, with big queues constructing throughout Glasgow southside streets and a few complaining of a two-hour wait to get out of an Asda carpark in close by Toryglen.

Forward of the present, that they had been warned to plan forward after ScotRail confirmed there could be no trains operating between Glasgow metropolis centre and Hampden's closest station at Mount Florida in Glasgow's southside.
