Dad arrested after 'car flips during crash' with children inside on Father's Day

A dad has been arrested after allegedly crashing his automobile, inflicting it to flip onto its roof with youngsters inside on Father's Day.

The 42-year-old was suspected to have overturned his automobile earlier than police and ambulance providers rushed to the scene, at round 8.15pm, on Sunday, June 19.

Police confirmed that two youngsters had been passengers within the automobile on the time of the crash and had been injured. The motive force suffered “minor accidents” and went to hospital for therapy.

Posting in regards to the incident on Twitter, Merseyside police ‘s Highway Unit stated: “The motive force of this car unbelievably drove while drunk together with his two youngsters within the rear of the car earlier than rolling it.

“Fortunately each youngsters are protected and effectively. The motive force was arrested after refusing to offer a pattern of breath.”

The person, from Southport, crashed his car on Crosby Highway South, close to to the junction with Princess Approach, in Seaforth.

Police have since confirmed that the driving force was arrested on suspicion of failing to offer a pattern and careless driving, in line with Liverpool Echo. They interesting for any witnesses, CCTV and sprint digicam footage which can help the investigation.
