Passengers have reportedly confronted prolonged delays in dropping off and accumulating their baggage at Glasgow Airport. One traveller instructed the Each day Document they have been pressured to attend greater than 90 minutes for his or her suitcases after arriving on an easyJet flight.
They declare that baggage handlers contracted by the finances airline have been allegedly refusing to dump the plane. An image taken contained in the arrivals corridor early on Tuesday morning confirmed dozens of fed up travellers and holidaymakers ready close to the empty baggage carousel.
One other passenger tweeted: “Shambles Glasgow Airport. 80 minutes merely to drop bag after which flight to London delayed by 90 minutes on account of lack of floor employees baggage handlers.”
Glasgow Airport chiefs confirmed that passengers have been "ready longer than they need to have" as a result of baggage points. However they mentioned they have been contacting the airline and their baggage dealing with firm to know what was responsible for the prolonged delays.
A spokeswoman for EasyJet mentioned that they hadn't been made conscious of any points on the airport, including: "We're sorry that it took longer than typical for passengers arriving in Glasgow from Malaga and Faro on the night of twenty seventh June to be reunited with their maintain baggage and for any inconvenience prompted."
