Vile Nazi swastika graffiti daubed all over Scots town leaving community in disgust

Swastikas have been daubed over a Scots city leaving the local people in disgust.

The Nazi graffiti was spray-painted in numerous places throughout Thurso within the Highlands between Monday and Tuesday this week.

In photos obtained by the File, a solicitor's workplace on Riverside Highway within the city may very well be seen pictured after being focused by the louts.

Alexander, 45, informed the File: "It was upsetting to see these over city.

"The native response was a mix of weariness on the ongoing anti-social behaviour and revulsion on the sight of the swastika.

"There have been a number of places defaced with these symbols over the previous few days, and there is been a spate over the previous few months.

"I took the video of the swastikas on the solicitor's workplace on the riverfront, plus there have been two others spray-painted on on the Mall Stroll, Victoria Stroll, one on Previous Man's Relaxation, one other on the Pennyland Mausoleum and one other at Thurso Excessive Faculty.

"There have been others elsewhere as effectively however I do not know exact places. A significant effort has been launched to take away them ASAP."

Alexander says the council acted shortly to assist the locals of their bid to take away the offensive graffiti.

He stated: "It is good the council and different volunteers sprang into motion. There will be extra effort completed by us everywhere in the subsequent couple of days.

"We're simply relieved the graffiti will be eliminated so shortly."

Police have now confirmed that three schoolboys have been charged over the "variety of hateful messages" which had been spray-painted within the city this week.

The youths, aged 14, 15 and 16 , can be reported to the Youngsters’s Reporter.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "Three male youths have been traced in reference to quite a few hateful messages which had been spray painted at numerous places in Thurso between Monday, Could 9 and Tuesday, Could 10.

"The youths, aged 14, 15 and 16 , can be reported to the Youngsters’s Reporter and the Procurator Fiscal."

A council spokesperson added: “The Highland Council and volunteers from the neighborhood are taking motion to take away the offensive graffiti and police are investigating the crime.

"Graffiti, whereas not solely a felony offence, is a complete waste of taxpayers’ cash as to scrub it up diverts assets from council works and companies."
