Iain McMillan mentioned he was "honoured" to tackle the position after being voted in on the group's AGM on Monday.

Councillor McMillan, who represents Johnstone South and Elderslie, will likely be supported in his management position by Councillor Alison Ann-Dowling after she was elected depute chief.
