Police in Renfrew have launched an investigation after a girl was sexually assaulted this morning.
A police cordon stays at a wooded space off of Meadowside Avenue, close to to Clyde Avenue after a 23-year-old girl was attacked.
Native officers are investigating the incident to ascertain the total circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Officers are investigating a report of the sexual assault of a 23-year-old girl which occurred on Monday, Might 2, close to to Clyde Avenue, Renfrew.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing to ascertain the precise circumstances surrounding the incident.”
The assault comes only a week after a 27-year-old girl was assaulted within the space.
The 27-year-old sufferer was left badly shaken after she was approached by a person on the Clyde Walkway, close to Meadowside Avenue, at round 7.45pm final Monday, April 25.
