Police launch hunt for 'black and blue' Scots man last seen leaving Tesco

Police have launched an enchantment to trace down a Scots man described by Angus locals as trying "all black and blue".

Michael Nicoll was final seen leaving a Tesco grocery store in Arbroath at round 5.30pm on Monday Could 2.

Police say they're involved for the Arbroath man's welfare after an earlier enchantment to determine him noticed residents come ahead on social media to say he appeared to have facial accidents.

The 34-year-old is described as between 5ft 11ins and 6ft in top, of common construct with quick brown hair.

When final seen he was sporting a maroon high, blue denims and gray trainers. He wears glasses.

Police made an enchantment earlier on Monday in a bid to determine Michael, with a lacking individuals discover issued later that evening.

One native mentioned on Fb on Monday she had seen him in a close-by chemist, and that "his face appeared like he'd been in an accident or a battle".

One other wrote: "His face was all black and blue and had glasses on."

A 3rd added: "I noticed him in Tesco round 5.15pm, his glasses are damaged and taped up one one eye piece with black tape! His face was a multitude!"

Inspector Martin Jenkins, of Police Scotland's Tayside Division, mentioned: “We're interesting for anybody who could have seen Michael or is aware of of his whereabouts to get in contact with Police. There are considerations for his welfare.

“We urge anybody with any info get in contact with us, and Michael if you happen to see this, please tell us you might be okay.”

Police later confirmed that Nicoll had been traced "secure and properly".

A spokesperson mentioned: "We will verify that Michael Nicoll, who was reported lacking from Arbroath on Monday, 2 Could, has been traced secure and properly.

"We wish to thank all those that shared our earlier enchantment."
