Guitarist Tony McManus, who's famend world wide having performed a number of the most prestigious venues in cities from Tokyo and Bogota to Sydney and New York, is heading residence to his native Paisley and says he can’t wait.
The enforced separation has been powerful on the native hero, who will make his long-awaited homecoming look in Paisley’s Bungalow Bar on the finish of this month.
Set to be opened by up-and-coming virtuoso Liverpool guitarist Danny Bradley, the Could 29 gig is anticipated to draw followers from far and large.

Multi-award-winning Tony, who now lives in Canada, usually tries to move for residence to go to buddies and family no less than on an annual foundation.

“I managed to get by the trauma of all of it, like so many extra, dwelling on Skype and Zoom.
“I’ve an exquisite community of scholars everywhere in the world, some even in locations I’ve by no means been – sure, there’s nonetheless just a few!
“I’d usually be in Scotland no less than every year and that at all times entails a visit to Paisley to meet up with family and friends.
“I’ve missed that greater than something.”

“I’m a really proud Buddie, and proud too of the contribution the city has made to the humanities and tradition basically.
“Paisley, for me, is buddies, household, familiarity, pleasure. I’m grateful, and excited to be coming residence.”
His newest enjoying partnership, say some critics, is a match made by the angels, the efficiency virtuoso and ceaselessly breathtaking.
He first met Julia Toaspern at a gig in her native Berlin, chatted after the present, and located converging musical pursuits, although from very completely different beginning factors.
“Julia was classically skilled - each voice and on violin,” he defined.
