A serious search operation has been launched to hint two lacking canoers who've vanished from a Scots loch.
A multi-emergency response has been drafted into the continuing mission at Loch Etive in Argyll and Bute.
RNLI crews, HM Coastguard and police are at present in attendance as a search helicopter hovers above the realm.
Officers had been alerted to the incident at 10.55am in the present day after receiving a report of concern for a person and a girl.
The Day by day Report has approached RNLI for remark.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "Round 10.55am on Monday, 16 Could, police had been referred to as to a report of concern for a person and a girl in an open canoe on Loch Etive.
"An intensive search was carried out with no hint of anybody within the space and has now been stood down.
"If any additional info is acquired then officers will act upon it."
