Man 'who doesn't usually travel far from home' found after frantic police search

A person has been traced after a frantic police search.

An operation went underway to hint Ryan Cooper, who vanished from his residence in Uphall, West Lothian, yesterday (Friday, Could 6).

Police stated that they had been "extraordinarily involved" for the 26-year-old's wellbeing.

He vanished at 12.50pm and was final seen carrying a black prime and trousers.

On the time, Inspector Kate Blundell of Livingston Police Station stated: “We're extraordinarily involved for Ryan’s wellbeing and we need to hint him as quickly as attainable to make sure that he's protected and nicely.

“He frequents the Uphall and Broxburn areas and doesn't often journey removed from residence.

“I might urge anybody who has seen Ryan or who has any info on his whereabouts to contact officers by means of 101 with reference 1550 of Could 6.”

Police Scotland have since confirmed that Ryan has been traced protected and nicely.

An announcement reads: "We are able to affirm that Ryan Cooper, 26, reported lacking from Uphall, West Lothian has been traced protected and nicely.

"Thanks to everybody who shared and responded to our enchantment."
