A person has been left with a critical head damage after a 'verbal altercation' with a bunch of golfers.
Cops raced to Cochrane Fort Golf Course, in Johnstone, at round 5.55pm on Sunday, Could 1, after being alerted to an assault.
A 49-year-old man was rushed to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for remedy to a critical head damage.
Police launched a probe and have now established that the person had been concerned in a 'verbal altercation with a bunch of golfers'.
It is understood the argument happened close to to the sixteenth inexperienced and seventeenth tee of the course.
