Man jailed for having stun gun in Paisley street four years ago

A person who was in possession of a stun gun in a Paisley avenue 4 years in the past has been jailed.

David Park claimed the deadly weapon was a torch when cops confronted him in April 2018.

Park admitted the offence in February at Paisley Sheriff Court docket and Sheriff Eoin McGinty deferred sentencing for reviews till March.

Court docket heard that the 51-year-old was stopped on April 4, 2018 by officers who have been suspicious of his behaviour.
