A 23-year-old man has been arrested after a lady was sexually assaulted in Glasgow metropolis centre.
Police acquired a report of a 21-year-old girl having been sexually assaulted round 12am on Saturday.
The incident occurred close to Sauchiehall Lane in Glasgow as the realm was cordoned off yesterday whereas officers carried out enquiries.
Police have now confirmed a 23-year-old man was arrested in reference to the incident however has been launched pending additional enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Between 12am and 12.10am on Saturday, 14 Could, officers acquired a report of a 21-year-old girl having been sexually assaulted close to to Sauchiehall Lane, Glasgow.
“A 23-year-old man was arrested and launched pending additional enquiries.
“Police enquiries are persevering with.”
