Biker dies after horror Highlands crash as cops appeal for witnesses

A biker has died after a horror smash within the Highlands.

The person, who was using a purple Honda Bike, was concerned in a crash with a white Volvo XC70 on the A835 on the junction of the A832 close to the village of Garve, Ross-shire, round 8.35am in the present day.

Emergency companies raced to the scene and the motorcyclist, a 52-year-old man, was rushed to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, with critical accidents.

Sadly, the biker later died.

The motive force and passenger of the Volvo have been unhurt.
