BBC apologises for 'Manchester United are rubbish' on-screen message gaffe

The BBC has apologised after a message that mentioned “ Manchester United are garbage” appeared on display screen in a technical gaffe.

Viewers had been left in stitches because the message appeared throughout an replace on the tennis through the 9am to 10am information broadcast earlier immediately.

BBC Information presenter Annita McVeigh apologised to viewers and Manchester United followers later within the morning.
