Armed cops swooped on a Fife property after receiving experiences of an 'air weapon' inside.
An emergency operation was launched on Laurel Crescent, Kirkcaldy, on Tuesday afternoon.
A number of police autos have been noticed on the road, in addition to a lot of specialist officers.
The armed cops have been photographed exterior of a property on the road, sporting protecting gear.
The precise circumstances surrounding the incident weren't intially identified, however Police Scotland confirmed to the Report officers have been in attendance.
It's understood the incident is now not ongoing and officers have since left the scene having recovered the suspect merchandise.
Detective Inspector Karen Muirhead mentioned: “Officers attended at Laurel Crescent, Kirkcaldy at round 2.50pm on Tuesday, 10 Might, 2022 following experiences of what's believed to be an air weapon inside a property.
“Officers have recovered the merchandise.
“No-one was injured and there was no wider risk to the general public. Enquiries are ongoing.”
