Tributes have poured in for a Scots dad who died in an early-morning crash.
Anthony Doherty was described by family and friends as "top-of-the-line".
The 34-year-old sadly handed away on the scene of the incident, which occurred at 3.40am on the A709 Dumfries to Lockerbie street, close to to Dryfesdale Cemetery in Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway.
Anthony was driving a black Vauxhall Corsa. He was the only real occupant and no different automobiles have been concerned.
He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
Devastated family members paid their respects in public social media posts following the tragedy.

Police confirmed Anthony's tragic passing on Monday night.
