Teenage boy sexually assaulted by pensioner in public toilets of popular Edinburgh park

A young person has been sexually assaulted within the public bathrooms of a preferred park.

A pensioner is being hunted because the suspect within the sick intercourse assault in The Meadows in Edinburgh yesterday afternoon.

A 14-year-old boy was approached by a person and sexually assaulted within the bathrooms on the east facet of the favored park, close to Hope Park Terrace, on Good Friday round 4.30pm.

The person left when a member of the general public entered the bathrooms.

It is believed he walked off in the direction of the crossroads at Hope Park Terrace following the surprising incident.
