A practice station in Inverclyde has been locked down this night after a person was 'assaulted'.
Police had been alerted to stories of an assault within the Carwood Avenue space of Greenock, Inverclyde round 5.30pm.
Emergency providers together with Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service are at present in attendance.
On account of the continued incident, Cartsdyke practice station has been locked down, with trains unable to cease on the station whereas mercy crews help.
Scotrail say they're working intently with emergency providers whereas the scenario develops.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “We had been referred to as round 5.30pm on Saturday, 16 April, to a report of a person being assaulted within the Carwood Avenue space of Greenock.
"Emergency providers are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
British Transport Police have been contacted for remark.
