Police have confirmed an incident on the River Forth yesterday afternoon was a "false alarm" with "good intent".
It is believed a member of the general public had noticed an individual on the Clackmannanshire Bridge performing in a regarding approach at round 2.30pm and alerted emergency companies.
Mercy crews scrambled to the scene, together with a UK Coastguard helicopter and rescue boast, which soured the water between Grangemouth and Kincardine.
The incident compelled the Kincardine Bridge to be closed for hours.
