Police are searching a person with outstanding ears following an unprovoked assault in Kilmarnock on the weekend.
The 45-year-old was on a footpath between Knockinlaw Highway and Western Highway round 3.30pm on Sunday when he was assaulted.
The sufferer was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital for therapy and was later launch, police confirmed at this time.
Officers say they're eager to talk to a person seen within the space on the time. He’s described as white, in his 40s, round 6ft tall, bald or shaved hair and outstanding ears. He was carrying a yellow or orange jacket, denims and gray and orange trainers.
