Scots have been left scratching their heads after rampaging llamas had been noticed roaming the streets of Dumbarton.
The three cheeky animals had been seen wandering round a residential road at round 12.45pm on Saturday afternoon.
Locals had been in stitches as photos emerged on social media of the llamas - with no apparent purpose of how they bought there.
In a single picture, a shocked resident may be seen standing in his entrance backyard watching on in awe whereas a pink Audi approaches one of many animals which is standing in the midst of the highway.
Two extra llamas may be seen on the pavement of the road close by.
In one other comedic image, the three llamas can then be seen chasing one another down one other road within the city.
One native, who initially combined the animals up with their Camelidae twin, mentioned on Twitter: "Proper who’s misplaced their pet Alpacas in Dumbarton?"
Posting the second image, one other native laughed: "So many questions. Gonna go information them to my mums backyard."
Naturally others within the feedback began poking enjoyable on the poor animals, as one mentioned: "Wouldn’t prefer to cross them as I’ve heard they'll alpaca punch."
One other added: "Alpacca my baggage and get on up there to say hiya to those wee cute beasties."
The joke, nevertheless, was on them because the the animals had been the truth is llamas - that are bigger than alpacas.
The thriller, although, stays of how they bought there, or the place they got here from - but it surely's understood the animals had been quickly rescued by cops.
One native defined within the feedback: "They had been taken safely house by police."
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Round 12.45pm on Saturday, April 2, police obtained a report of three Llamas on Excessive Mains Avenue, Dumbarton who then made their manner onto a cycle path heading in the direction of Previous Kilpatrick.
“The animals had been safely retrieved a short while later by their house owners.”
