A teenager lacking in Inverness since Wednesday has been discovered protected and effectively.
Scott Shearer was dropped off on the Co-op on the metropolis's Telford Road at round 5pm and hadn't been seen since.
The 17-year-old was assembly a good friend there.
Scott was presupposed to be picked up at 6.45pm that very same night time however didn't present up.
Police Scotland launched an enchantment for data in a bid to seek out him.
Officers scoured native CCTV and went door-to-door within the space, asking locals if they've seen the teenager.
Anybody with information of Scott's wherabouts, or who could have seen him since he disappeared, was urged to return ahead.
On Friday afternoon police revealed that the teenager had been discovered protected and effectively.
An announcement from Highlands and Islands Police Division learn: "Scott Shearer has been traced protected and effectively.
