A police investigation is underway after kids have been threatened with a knife by a person and a lady in Ayr on the weekend.
The pair demanded money from the group of youths at round 8.30pm on Saturday on on River Ayr stroll close to Mill Avenue.
The person threatened them with a knife and demanded cash and private belongings from them. The youths ran off with out handing something over and have been unhurt, police confirmed right now.
The person is described as being in his 20s, 5ft 9in tall, of slim construct with sallow pores and skin. He was sporting a snood, darkish clothes, gloves and had his hood up.
The lady is described as being in her 40s, round 5ft 9in tall, of heavier construct, with blonde hair and a sunken facial look and had a barely impaired stroll. She was sporting a white knee-length parka-type coat, a cream jumper, light-coloured denims and light-coloured trainers.

Detective Constable Scott Hendry, of Ayr CID, mentioned: “Fortunately not one of the youths have been injured because of this incident
