Help sent to aid refugees in Poland

Bathgate Church buildings Collectively for Ukraine teamed up with West Lothian Council to ship a van loaded with items for refugees who're sheltering in Poland after fleeing the conflict of their homeland.

St John’s Church within the city was the gathering level for donations of nappies, new child garments and blankets.

Additionally collected was child formulation, First Support tools and toiletries.

All gadgets had been sorted and packed in bins donated by Purdie of Blackburn.

Native councillor Harry Cartmill organised West Lothian House Support to Edinburgh/Ukraine Society’s depot.

Van driver Karol, himself Polish, was so happy he needed to take the van all the way in which to Poland.

The Bathgate donations have travelled on to Poland.
