Tributes have been paid to 'lovely soul' who died all of a sudden after falling unwell while working offshore.
Glasgow dad-of-three Alan Carr's family members have been left devastated after his tragic passing on March 31.
The Scaffolder took unwell while working offshore final week and died a number of days later at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Sister Siobhan Byrne advised the Every day File her brother was a 'lovely soul'.
She added: "Alan had such a gorgeous soul, who touched so many lives. It has been unimaginable to see how a lot he meant to everybody."
Alan, of Whiteinch, is survived by his three kids Darren, Kaitlin and Kyle.
After his tragic loss of life, good friend Robert Nicholson set-up a fundraiser to assist pay for his funeral prices.
In simply three days he has raised over £7000.
Talking about his pal of six years, Robert mentioned: "He was such an amazing man that everybody liked. I by no means heard a foul phrase mentioned about him.
"Everybody took to him nice.

"It’s been very unhappy for all of us as he was simply such a properly preferred, nice man."
Posting on the fundraising web page, Robert wrote: "Fellow scaffolders and all that knew wee Alan Carr.
"I’m organising this fundraiser after Alan handed away so sudden leaving a heartbroken household and younger children .
"For anybody that knew Alan is aware of he’s one of many nicest guys you would ever meet .
"He was at all times completely happy smiling away.
"Everybody that ever labored with Alan immediately preferred him as he had a coronary heart of gold and had time for everybody.
"He was so properly liked within the development business everywhere in the UK.
"Let’s give Alan’s household the love and assist they want at this horrible, tragic time.
"Relaxation in peace Al."
Family and friends left heartbreaking messages for Alan.
Bob Clark mentioned: "Horrible information. Such an amazing loss.
"Identical to everyone seems to be saying, beside gentleman within the dictionary they need to have an image of Alan.
"Go straightforward, step flippantly, keep free Alan - it’s a musical journey."
Paul Ramsay mentioned: "The world is a sadder place at the moment with out you in it. A real gentleman. Till we meet once more Amigo!!
"Relaxation straightforward."
Eileen Moffat added: "Fly Excessive Alan. You may be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of understanding you.
"My ideas are with all of your family members."

Alan’s household have organised a balloon launch at the moment in his honour.
