Gamekeeper raises nearly £3,000 for Ukraine with walk around Galloway Forest Park

A gamekeeper has raised almost £3,000 by strolling across the Galloway Forest Park for the Ukraine aid fund.

Gavin McGhie, who lives close to Dalry, took on the problem together with brother Frank, with Steve Grimshaw providing assist.

Beginning and ending at Clatteringshaws, it took them 22 hours – together with breaks – to cowl round 60 miles.

And so they took greater than 120,000 steps alongside the best way.

They skilled all types of climate, together with rain and sleet, and it bought so chilly at night time that Gavin’s water bottle froze.
