A gamekeeper has raised almost £3,000 by strolling across the Galloway Forest Park for the Ukraine aid fund.
Gavin McGhie, who lives close to Dalry, took on the problem together with brother Frank, with Steve Grimshaw providing assist.
Beginning and ending at Clatteringshaws, it took them 22 hours – together with breaks – to cowl round 60 miles.
And so they took greater than 120,000 steps alongside the best way.
But it surely was all price it with £2,855 thus far raised for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Attraction. Gavin’s fundraising web page is now closed
