Cops 'increase presence' in Edinburgh as search for missing Scot continues

Cops have stated there shall be an 'elevated police presence' in a part of Edinburgh because the seek for a lacking Scot continues.

Stuart Campbell was final seen within the Barn Park space of Wester Hailes, round 4pm on Tuesday, March 22.

The 36-year-old, who has not been involved with household or mates, is known to even have hyperlinks to Oxgangs space of the town.

Police have stated there shall be extra officers within the Wester Hailes space because the search continues three days on from Stuart's disappearance.

Stuart is described as 5ft 10in tall, with brief brown hair.

He was final seen sporting a dark-coloured jacket, inexperienced hooded high with white ties and gray jogging bottoms.

Police are interesting for info and have requested locals to verify CCTV and dash-cam footage from the time he was final seen.

Chief Inspector Mark Hamilton, Space Commander for South West Edinburgh stated: “Stuart has not contacted mates or household since he was final seen, and we don’t imagine he has entry to a cell phone.

“We're asking folks within the native space to verify garages, sheds, outhouses for any signal of Stuart and urge anybody who thinks they might have seen him since Tuesday 22 March 2022 to please get in contact with us.”
