Highway Policing officers in Dumfries and Galloway stopped an Audi A4 on the M74, close to to Junction 16 Johnstonebridge, round 12.10pm on Saturday.

Officers found round 10kg of hashish was an estimated road worth of £100,000.

A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged in reference to medicine and highway visitors offences.
