Three-car crash near Loch of Skene forces police to close road

A three-car crash has brought on a Scots street to be closed by the police this morning.

Emergency companies raced to the scene on the A944, close to Loch of Skene, heading in direction of Aberdeen at round 7.10am.

It's understood that a main incident car, 4 hearth and rescue home equipment and an ambulance had been all current within the space.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated on the time: "Round 7.10am on Thursday, March 31, officers had been referred to as to studies of a 3 automobile crash on the A944, close to Dunecht, Westhill.

"Emergency companies are on the scene. The street is closed between Dunecht and Loch of Skene."

Visitors was being diverted from Dunecht to Echt, and alongside the Garlogie Street to Westhill.

Street Policing Scotland then tweeted at 8.45am: "The A944 close to Loch of Skene is now reopen following the sooner street visitors collision.

"We're nonetheless at scene while the autos concerned are recovered so please take additional care as you strategy."
