An ungrateful man who attacked law enforcement officials attempting to assist him has been ordered to get dependancy counselling.
Jay McNeil, who had blood streaming from an arm wound, kicked a feminine officer on the groin and bit two of her colleagues.
McNeil, 26, of Clyde Drive, Mossend, admitted three counts of police assault when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Courtroom.

The difficulty began after PC Rhiannon Evans noticed him strolling alongside Calder Highway, Bellshill, at 7.20am on Might 9 final 12 months.
