A 61-year-old girl left a toddler bruised after placing her a number of instances with a steel pole throughout a row over a lacking pet.
However Teresa Watkinson escaped punishment for the assault on a younger lady after a sheriff famous she had not brought about any hassle for the reason that incident.
Sheriff Francis Gill stated: "Regardless of the circumstances and the pressures it isn't acceptable to behave in the way in which you probably did.
"Nonetheless, it's your first offence and you've got accepted duty for it. You've been of excellent behaviour since. You may be admonished."
Fiscal depute Sarah Wilkinson instructed Perth Sheriff Court docket on Wednesday: "The lady was upset and offended in regards to the pet and repeatedly requested the accused about its whereabouts.
"The accused grabbed a steel pole used to connect a paint curler and commenced to repeatedly bang on the opposite facet of the door from the place the kid was hiding.
"The pole penetrated the door and struck her on the physique and arm. The damage sustained was a number of bruises per being hit with the tip of a pole."
Watkinson, of Maxton Place, Perth, admitted attacking the lady by repeatedly placing a door with a pole till she penetrated it and struck the lady to her damage on 30 October 2020.
