Police in Glasgow have opened an investigation into an incident of deliberate fire-raising after a home was set alight earlier on Monday.
Emergency providers have been scrambled to a property on Leglen Wooden Crescent within the Robroyston space at round 9.30am on February 28.
The Scottish Hearth and Rescue Service was capable of safely extinguish the blaze and no accidents have been reported because of the hearth on the suburban avenue, near the world's Asda grocery store.
Nevertheless, officers from Police Scotland's Better Glasgow division are treating the morning scare as deliberate - and have opened a probe into the "reckless" blaze.
Detective Inspector Cheryl Kelly of Shettleston CID mentioned: “Fortunately no one has been injured because of this reckless act.
