Renfrew care home residents enjoy special visit from four-legged friend

A Renfrew care residence was paid a particular go to from a pleasant four-legged companion.

Milo the canine introduced smiles to the faces of residents at Craigielea Care Residence as he bounded up as he bounded as much as every workers member and resident for a heat cuddle and a deal with.

His go to was organised as a part of the house’s pet remedy programme, designed to encourage residents to remain energetic and socialise with one another.

Over time, the programme has seen alpacas and different lovable creatures welcomed into the house.

Milo supplies light firm for residents, who get pleasure from petting and enjoying fetch with him. His visits have helped residents, notably those that reside with dementia or studying disabilities, interact with life and actions within the residence.

Those that are in a position, even take him on a stroll by means of the native neighbourhood.

Sheila Inshaw, Service Supervisor at Cragielea Care Residence stated: “You are feeling the distinction instantly when Milo walks by means of the door.
