Police had been alerted to a person carrying a bladed merchandise on a busy road in Edinburgh on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at round 8.40am within the Bonnington Avenue space of Leith close to Parkside Major Faculty.
A 38-year-old man was arrested by police shortly after they had been alerted to the hazard.
Police have confirmed that nobody was injured through the incident and an investigation into what occurred is at the moment going down.
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “We had been made conscious of a person in possession of a bladed merchandise within the Bonnington Avenue space of Leith in Edinburgh round 8.40am on Friday, 4 March.
“Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was arrested a short while later in reference to the incident.
“No person was injured and enquiries are ongoing.”
