An injured individual has been airlifted to hospital after falling down cliffs in a Scots village this night.
Emergency crews, together with RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat and Rescue 199, raced to the scene at Aberdour at round 6pm to help the person concerned.
The casualty was then taken by air ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
The extent of the individual's accidents shouldn't be but identified.
The lifeboat confirmed that it was stood down from the rescue operation at round 8pm.
A spokesperson instructed the Every day File: "Lifeboat paged at 18:11 to at least one casualty fallen down cliffs at Aberdour.
"Rescue 199 additionally attended and extracted casualty and airlifted to ERI.
"Lifeboat has simply been stood down at 20:20.
"Lifeboat has no involvement in some other incident at the moment."
