A person has died after moving into problem in water at a Scots loch this afternoon.
Emergency companies raced to Loch Doon in Dalmellington, East Ayrshire after the alarm was raised at round 1.15pm on Sunday, March 27.
Officers obtained reviews of two males in problem within the water.
Ambulance crews attended, however one man tragically died on the scene.
The opposite man was checked over by paramedics however didn't require additional medical therapy.
Police say a report might be despatched to the procurator fiscal, however there don't seem like any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: ""Officers obtained reviews of two males in problem within the water at Loch Doon, Dalmellington, round 1.15pm on Sunday, March 27.
"One man died on the scene. The opposite man was checked over by paramedics however didn't require additional medical therapy.
"A report might be submitted to the procurator fiscal however there don't seem like any suspicious circumstances."
