Man raced to Scots hospital with serious injury after 'terrifying broad daylight' attack

A person was rushed to a Scots hospital after a 'terrifying broad daylight' assault in Glasgow.

The 'severe assault' came about on Albert Avenue on the junction with Maybank Road at round 6.30pm on Thursday, March 24.

A 28-year previous man was rushed to hospital with a severe facial harm after being 'hit on the pinnacle' by his attacker.

The male suspect is described as Asian and round 5ft6/7, of slim construct.

He’s regarded as aged between 20 and 30, with darkish hair that had a brief fade on the sides, and a trimmed beard.

He was carrying a dark-coloured hoodie which had a shiny impact, black trousers and crimson, black and white Fila trainers.

Detective Constable Mark McCall from Cathcart Police Workplace stated: “This has been a terrifying assault in broad daylight leaving a person requiring hospital therapy.

“We're asking anybody who witnessed the incident, or thinks they noticed the suspect within the space on the time to get in contact.

“Equally, we're eager to talk to anybody who has sprint cam footage from the world across the time of the incident on Thursday to return ahead.”
